El Nacimiento is a documentary about specialty coffee, tradition, and friendship. It tells the story behind Café de Finca’sfirst-owned farm, located in the heart of the mountains of Honduras within Finca San José.
This documentary explores what is known as the "fourth wave" of coffee, where roasters and café owners from the developed world are beginning to own land at the origin— a significant development that could reshape the specialty coffee world.
The film includes footage shot on Super 8, handycam, and many behind-the-scenes moments captured with analog photography (DIARY).
